It stands for the Open Music Resource Library.

The idea started as a place people who make loops, samples, and synth
patches (for various softsynths) could drop their work off for others
to use.

Sorry for the confusion, but I had to balance a potentially unknown
acronym versus an incredibly long and unwieldy subject line.

Either way, the library has its own mailing list now. Anyone who wishes
to is welcome to join.
