This has been fixed in CVS... I should probably make another release.
But to get it now:

  cvs -d:pserver:anonymous_AT_cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/freqtweak login
    [press enter at password prompt]

  cvs -z3 -d:pserver:anonymous_AT_cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/freqtweak co freqtweak
