Greetings:

Just FYI: There is a pat2wav utility packaged with KMidi. I've been
trying to find it but without success. I can use Jesus Villena's Convert
1.4 under dosemu with complete success, so if you have dosemu installed
you can try Convert. See this site for a URL :

    http://linux-sound.org/convert.html

Alas, the URL for Convert appears to be broken, I'll see if I can hunt
it down again (or I can send a tarball to anyone who wants it, it's
freeware). A pat2raw uility is also listed there but I haven't tried it.
Convert works well enough for me.

So, your PAT files can live again with Specimen ! ;)

Btw, last night I was playing with Sequencer Plus, Qsynth, and
Specimen all happy together on the JACK bus. It's official, I'm in Linux
audio Hog Heaven... Next up, running the whole bundle into Ardour...

Best regards,

dp
