Agreed... I use Cakewalk Sonar XL for my midi live playback at gigs.
Saved into the Sonar format it retains all mix, fx and sound synth
module data as well as a nifty playlist feature. I think Rosegarden and
Muse have come along in leaps and bounds but I don't trust them out
there just yet.
