this is crystal synth from greenoak (http://www.greenoak.com/crystal/) -
as far as i know, there is no installer, just a zipped-up .dll ... you
can get that here: http://www.tfb.com/~glenn/Crystal.zip .
i just noticed this from the download page:

although i'm not sure that would make a difference here, as i am able to
run the plugin, albeit as root ... need to make work for normal user.
i'm also pretty sure this is the standard plugin to test vst on linux?
