All the sound engineers I've been talking or listening to insist on use
the highest quality monitors you can get. Especially when mastering,
which places high demands not only on the monitors but also on the room.

However, if you are 100% sure you are always going to use the same
speakers/amps... well, i guess it's ok to mix/master on those same
speakers. I am not a sound engineer though, just an amateur, so take my
opinion for what it actually is: just an opinion.
