Nope, the fonts are still pixellated. It's just less obnoxious because
yours is smaller.
Anyway I suspect building against a newer wxgtk package would help.
There's a wx-gtk 2.4 and 2.5 available on my distro, but Audacity would
not compile against the newer one.
