Nope, keyboard lockups happen here too. And others have reported the
same, for me it's when I unplug my ua-25 so it's not card specific.

See http://lalists.stanford.edu/lau/2005/03/0688.html which has gone
ignored on both this list and the jack devel list.

I've tried from 2.6.8.1 up to 2.6.12.rcX, no love.

I also suspected IRQ issues, and digging through kernel-parameters.txt
brought me this boot option: acpi_irq_balance

Adding this to my grub.conf resulted in my usb bus no longer being
shared with my graphics adapter and about 5 other things.

Unfortunately this change in IRQ assignment seems to have zero effect.
I'm not sure what's to blame for the "delay of XXX.XXX usecs" messages,
however I know that more USB users than you are troubled by this. My
intuitively ordered list of suspects is:

1) kernel
2) alsa-drivers
3) jackd

and of course superseding all is my flaky hardware and software setup :)
however as I find more people with these issues I'm less likely to blame
myself. The ua-25 works flawlessly in OS X btw.

-good luck
