HI
I use the M_Audio Audiophile on my master machine running Demundi
using the spdiff into and out of my DDX.

I lock the card to the Desk using envycontrol and found it fine
for digital work. No clicks or noise

cheers
Bob

PS I use RME for the multitrack machine and this is well suported in Linux.
