Hi Tim, thanks for replying! Well I did spend about fifteen years of my
life working with acoustic instruments and I enjoy doing that so much I
want to carry that fine motoric approach with me now that I'm going
electronic. So that's a slightly different genre than live coding... And
from that perspective, coding software tools does seem like woodwork
because you are preparing your computer to be used somewhat like an
acoustic instrument. That's not better or worse, it's just what I chose
to be doing.
Having said that, the live coding approach fascinates the heck out of me
now that I've seen it for the first time... exciting, exciting stuff and
unheard of to me so far!
