I have one (fished out of the can) which I use because it does have alsa
support. Under windows, this card can do wave synthesis and I have 8 meg of
samples for it, downloaded from Creative--this is a not awful GS subset.
The card has midi out under alsa so is there a way to configure it to read the
file and play the midi?
