Hi Nigel,

I have done what you suggested below but I still have a problem.

What should I do to try and track down the problem?

I can not get Rosegarden to work on any distro.

Cheers

Hi Bal. I'm back in Debian Sarge now. On the CLI, su to root, and open a
text
editor, gedit, kwrite or something. Go to /etc/modules. Add on a new
line.
snd-seq-midi . Save it and exit. The module should now load at bootup.
