Thanks! I've bookmarked the two links so far. I checked out Smack before
(I think we talked about it before, as I wanted to package it for
Ubuntu).

I will check out more on that site to see about general synthesis. The
problem is that I am short on time, heh. That's why I am so interested
in a site for presets/templates, so we can all benefit from each other's
work. Or that's how I spin it, when really I have pretty much nothing at
the current time to share.

I guess I need to sit down for a day and try figuring this stuff out.
