Seeing as how we are splitting hairs.

The vids mentioned were in Flash format on YT which is the main reason
for discussing Flash in the first place. The topic of the clips was a
certain person that has polarised the world (not to mention the country
of his origin) so it's only to be expected that a few vicious comments
are burped into the thread...

Complaining about people complaining about Bush is like complaining
about people complaining about mosquito bites. Everyone has an itch and
   no one likes the reason for the itch (although some - apparently 32%
- are more tolerant than others).

Personally I find it comforting to occasionally hear from an American
who is mortified at the way their country is run. That the person in
question is a senior Linux Audio developer lends weight to the point
being relevant to Linux Audio Users. Of course it's up to each of us to
decide how much weight we give it as with every other comment made via
this list.
