its not that its impossible, and is already likely easier than porting a win32 VST to Mac. i dont see anyone doing it unless a major player like Ableton, Avid, Cakewalk, or Steinberg decides to port one of their nearly-identical kitchen-sinks to linux. do you see any of them wanting to do that? what would make them want to do that?
