I kinda agree with you, but I don't think it's *that* bad. Have a look
at http://atte.dk/om-wiki/, which just sits there for months. I just
cleaned up one spam, but besides that have a look at recent changes...

It has a very simple anti-spam feature (that I wrote) which is described
