Hi,
   I suspect from your description that you are hearing a bad phasing
problem. It sounds like when you connected the output of Jamin to the
input of Ardour that you did not disconnect Jamin from alsa_pcm so you
are now hearing the output of Jamin twice with the second delayed
through Jack and Ardour.

   Make sure that you have a single audio path through the system and
you should be fine.
