the same here, if i update the 15 x.org packages i do net get any video
stuff working properly anymore (mplayer, vlc, xjadeo...), so i just do
not update.
the same now with qt4, i keep the etch versions installed.
but for building glashctl, i had to wait long time for an proper version
of libgtkmm-2.4(>2.10...).
