Resent to list, sorry for the duplicate Chip.

Ardour supports both the Behringer BCF control surface(I don't remember the
exact model) and the Mackie Control. I personally use a Mackie Control
Universal Pro run through midi fairly successfully.

It isn't as much an issue of Linux supporting as it just uses standard Midi
and Midi/SysEx, but rather the software supporting its use. I haven't
checked however if Linux supports the USB connection on my Mackie, I should
sometime, but I am betting it does as it just is a standard USB/Midi
interface.
