Take that times two: USB devices handle 8 channels with CD-quality
(16bit/44.1kHz). Many devices provide a 6out/2in configuration. The
(badly supported) M-Audio Quattro and the Maya 44 have 4/4, and there
is the rather exotic, but working ESI U46 DJ/SE with 6 out/4 in.
Normally it shouldn't work with all channels active at the same time,
but alas, I could borrow and test it for a short time, and I actually
could activate all 6/4 devices at the same time. I didn't do really
hardcore tests, though. I would recommend the U46 over the Maya,
though. The AD/DA converters of the Maya aren't very good, and the U46
has some other goodies as well. The have the same price at e.g.
Thomann.

Ciao
