The thing is that when you import the all the files of the whole cd into
ardour and do the jamin-mastering there, you can have:
a) searching/skipping during the rehearsal of the mastering,
b) automation of the jamin-scenes between songs (to make them all sound
similar you might need different jamin-settings on different songs),
c) song-markers that get exported directly to the cd-master.

When doing the export from ardour (feeding trough jamin) and exporting the
toc-file as well, you can directly create the master for the cd-manufacturer.
I don't think that is possible with command-line-batch-processing... at least
not that easy.

Oh, and plan to spend several evenings when you master the whole cd...

Have fun,

Arnold
