[LAU] MIDI to systemcommand, exute script etc.

Hi list

I have this Midikeyboard here and sustainedals and a behringer midi controller and when I'm not making music its just switched off.

Do you know any ways to receive midi events to start programms, execute shell-scripts or using other things you normaly do with your computer-keyboard and shortcuts?
