No, the Control I/O modules are solely for passing control values within
Ingen. It's like audio, just at a slower rate.
In principle, they could be exposed to external apps along with audio
and event ports that happen to be on the root patch, I guess. But no
reason to do so, as long as there is nothing that could connect to them.
