Second that. My eee 701 works brilliantly for two channel recording
with a dinky USB sound device (one of those £10 7.1 sound cards). No
Xruns and perfectly fine for on-the-go podcast recording. I'm
pondering about an USB AT2020 at the mo for true portability and good
sound (or buying one of these recorder-mike combos).
