I was incorrectly calculating the gain when the gain control was equal to or greater than the maximum (ie for the compressor >=36dB). This
is more about protecting the plugin from unexpected control values that anything else. Values within the expected range (>= -36dB & < 36dB)
are unaffected.
So you'll be fine to update, there are no other changes to the algorithm or interpretation of parameters that'll affect your mixes.
