So you just use jack_midi_clock to adjust some tempo based effects of you
hardware machine. OK.
   But would it be possible for you to add start/stop. Start would be the main
thing. I can manage a stop somehow. :-) I wouldn't even need a special locate,
if locate is forward, rewind, jump to a sppecific position.
   A real nice first would simply be: load my midifile, start my jack-audio
client and then kick them off togeter. I don't mind who starts whom, as long
as they do it. :-) And if they somehow keep in sync. So I can record a
midifile track by track (or clearer speaking: instrument by instrument) and
afterward listen to all instruments combined and see they fit right up until
the end of the piece. That would be a dream of mine. :-)
