Thank you both for listening and for your comments.

Ironically, on another board I've has suggestions to do some EQ in
exactly the *opposite* direction to Norval's idea :o so for the moment
at least I ain't doin' nuttin!

I could probably add an instrumental bridge maybe between verses 2 &
3, but I wouldn't cut a verse out. It would create a hole in the story.

The only reason for my choice of key was to attempt to get in a range I
could actually sing. This was the best compromise I could find. The key
change for the last verse is an absolute killer for someone like me :(
