Midi is working ok for ZynAddSubFX, DSSI plugins, Connie, etc, on this
Archlinux install, and I have had Phasex version 0.11.1 working ok with my
midi keyboard on it.

Phasex 0.11.1 was a bit of a hack though, as it would not make to completion,
so I borrowed the installed files from the tarball build on Kubuntu Hardy
(built on same machine), and put them in the same places on Archlinux, and
the Hardy version of Phasex works with no problems. The installed files for
that are currently renamed, so as not to interfere with trying to get the
0.12.0beta4 version working.

I also built Phasex 0.12.0beta4 on a Kubuntu Intrepid install this afternoon
on the same machine, and that is working with no problems with the midi.

There are 3 sound cards on this machine, but that isn't causing a problem with
other sound apps on Archlinux.
