I also have Yoshimi. It works, too. But I'm not convinced that the
sounds Yoshimi generates are the same as the sounds Zyn generates. The
recording I emailed about earlier asking for opinions was recorded using
Zyn. When I tried playing the same sort of thing with the same voice in
Yoshimi, it didn't sound the same. Nothing that I could report
definitely to the wonderful person behind Yoshimi, maybe it's just my
ears. I should try recording the same thing with both and see if there's
a difference ...
I still think the author of Zyn should fix the freeze problem. (The GUI
could stand redesign, too, but I think it's the way it because that's
how the author likes it.)
