http://xjadeo.sf.net/ does (and remembers them via LASH).
* GTK: gdk_window_get_origin() , gdk_window_get_position(),
gdk_window_set_geometry_hints()
* generic X11: TranslateCoordinates(), XMoveWindow()
* OSX: GetWindowBounds(), MoveWindow()
* Windows: GetWindowInfo(), SetWindowPos()
Look in display_*.c for *_resize() and *_position(),
getsize_*() get_window_pos_*().
