Probably, but I'd hate to have to upgrade my distro (Ubuntu 8.10) just
to compile seq24 - my recent trips to later Ubuntus have ben nightmarish.

Yes, still fails, but at another place:

 options.cpp:158: error: ‘tooltips’ was not declared in this scope
