have a Multiface II, but I think it's related: On 15.5.2010 I sent the
fix on alsa-devel:
[alsa-devel] [PATCH] hdspmixer buffer overflow
to fix https://bugtrack.alsa-project.org/alsa-bug/view.php?id=5006
the attached patch for alsa-tools is proposed:
Summary: Fix buffer overflow in hdspmixer
You will find the patch in bugtrack or in that mail in the alsa-devel archives. The then new, shiny Suse-Libraries catched this aging one. The patch got applied upstream, but there is no alsa-tools-gui x.24 yet. Compiling the src-rpm with the patch added will do it :)
