You need the developer headers for Motif and/or Gtk. On
Debian-like systems, the packages are:

   libmotif-dev
   libgtk2.0-dev

However, You'll have to figure out which packages provide
the devel headers on CentOS. This should help for GTK:

   $ sudo yum whatprovides "pkgconfig(gtk-2.0)"

But you're on your own with motif. :-)
