Hello Massy!
Hm, maybe you're right and taking a completely new approach would be the
thing. Where accessibility is concerned I only have to think of Mac. People
trying to map things to keys and shortcuts for ages and then they come along
and now a blind friend of mine bought the new Macbook, becuase it has such a
big mouse/touch pad. :-)
Returning to music: The new mixes - sometimes - are very pollished, but that
is a technology, that we didn't have before. Not in that precise a fashion and
I rather like it sometimes. It depends on the style of music. But there are a
few very interesting effects you can achieve with graphic timelines and visual
EQs.
Still, it would be interesting to think of other/new concepts to represent
things in a totally non-graphical way.
   Warmly yours
           Julien
