And do you have both libgcc_s.so and libgcc_s.so.1 ?

Like this:

fons@email-addr-hidden:~> la /usr/lib/libgcc*
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 13 Jan 28 07:02 /usr/lib/libgcc_s.so -> libgcc_s.so.1
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 110348 Jan 28 07:02 /usr/lib/libgcc_s.so.1

If not try making the symlink, run ldconfig as root, retry.
