Hostname should only be biberei, not full domain name, AFAICT.
Also verify the output of the command hostname, which should say biberei then.
In hosts, I suggest to comment out the line starting with 192.168.2.105.
Your hostname should point to 127.0.0.1 too, thus add it to the first line:
127.0.0.1 localhost biberei biberei.metal.org
# comment out:
# 192.168.2.105 biberei.metal.org britney
Reboot after that.
But since you didn't specify a name when starting telnet, but directly used
the IP address, this likely won't solve your issue, there likely is something
different left.
