Hello again!
   No, I had something like it, but not very annoying. Since then I've upgraded
to jack2, a.k.a jackdmp. I also always build my own jack. Jack2 is even
simpler, since they dispensed with quite a few options. Works flawlessly with
Ecasound and all the other tools. I didn't even need to recompile a single
app. God thank compatibility. :-)
