There is linux 3.0-lowlatency for natty in abogani's PPA and you can select
ubuntu classic (gnome2) in the login screen. This is what I am using.
Admittedly, my computer is not an audio workstation but I sometimes enjoy
guitarix, ardour, etc, without problems.
Also, there is linux 2.6.33-rt for lucid in kxstudio PPA. It is not in the
main PPA but look for "KXstudio team kernels and drivers".
