It's pretty much like the audio input on an hardware analogue synth --
it runs your audio through PHASEX's filter and envelopes. You select the
audio input as your oscillator, hit a key, and the envelopes will open
and you'll hear whatever audio you're inputting, run through PHASEX's
filter.
PHASEX has a few envelopes and LFOs, and quite a few modulation options,
and some effects as well, so there's a lot of scope for creating audio
processing. It sounds good, too -- the filter's a bit unique, but it's nice.
