Seriously, though, I would question the objectivity of words like
"evolve" and "meaningful". If by evolving we mean any change at all, then
yes, society does evolve. If by evolving we mean only meaningful, then
what is meaningful? Meaningful is different for everyone and depends on his
ideals and ways of thinking. Any "development" model is necessarily
arbitrary. There does not seem to be the "correct" direction for humanity.
And thus there cannot be any "correct" tools, physical or mental.
