Mixing is done and so the word is correct, but mixer to most audio folk
means level controls, but this case has all levels at 0 gain. However, the
purpose is switching as a telephone switchboard. Not many people would
think of qjackctl's connection box or patchage as a mixer, but when two
signals are routed to the same output... jackd does mix them.
