netjack2 can discover slaves/master automatically (it uses multicast).
netjack2 has support for per-port latency which is transmitted between
all clients.

netjack1 is more robust regarding lost packets - that is usually only of
concern if you're sending data over a WAN. AFAIK netjack2 has no support
concerning package loss.
