+1 but it seems (and you can't really blame them on that) that they
stick to the person/studio because they like/trust them... It would be
interesting to have the sound of a blender miovie all generated with
Open Source tools: I'm thinking of the approach proposed by Andy
Farnell's in his Designing Sound... (although the latest Tears of Steel
uses a mixed approach)

I agree. But it would have to be a focused job, so to say.
