I got myself a pair of DT 990 Pro by Beyerdynamics. They are really
sturdily built. But then again, they are an open design and that might
not be suited for your usecase..

I really like them though. And by that I mean in the same sense as I
like my Yamaha HS80M monitors. They are pretty neutral. I guess you can
throw hundreds or thousands more at listening devices, but personally I
think I have hit exactly the sweet spot with these purchases between
quality and expenses..
