I don't know this usb device. Your digital IOs seemingly are S/PDIF, so it
might be possible to sync two or more of those USB devices by S/PDIF. You
also could use an A/D to S/PDIF converter for less money to get 2
additional analog inputs (on this list Julien does use such a device) or
if you should own e.g. a DAT recorder, you could use it's analog inputs,
assumed your device is able to use all IOs simultaneously.

You could use the outputs to connect to external gear, if you e.g. want to
master on DAT or assumed you have a converter to analog, you could use
additional outputs to send audio to an external reverb and loop it back,
since latency isn't that important when using a reverb. Etc. pp..
