If Rosea want's to know about disadvantages of the nanoKONTROL this
information is important. Why buying a controller that can interact with
applications, e.g. by providing motorized faders, if no Linux app should
be able to interact with a controller?

Some of my so called noise, isn't noise, it's just that some people
sometimes are not aware about some things.

I don't like to recommend the nanoKONTROL that easy as others do, since
my audio card was recommended by community members, that never tested if
the card really does work, so I own a card that only can use 2 ADAT
channels.

If Rosea should expect that a simple MIDI controller does work like a
control panel of a hardware synth or an analog mixer, than it's
important to explain that the nanoKONTROL doesn't provide this and even
if you buy a MIDI controller that does provide this functionality, it
also must be supported by the apps.

I like the nanoKONTROL very much, but even the software to set up the
nanoKONTROL might not satisfy Rosea's needs.

The Linux python app can't save and load and the available Windows apps
never worked with wine on my machine. If there shuld be a version that
does under wine, than I at least expect to name the version and where it
can be downloaded.
