Sorry, forgot to write about it: I asked about the software part last
fall: http://linuxaudio.org/mailarchive/lau/2012/9/4/192689, and it came
up some suggestions and thoughts, but it' seems to me that many people -
and several new ones - are very active on the list this days so I ask
again :-)
