Re: [LAU] alsaplayer error using USB Audio DAC

you get static because aplay doesn't handle anything except regular PCM
data. compressed file formats like FLAC are recognized as "raw data" and it
just guesses a sample rate and data format, which naturally are all wrong.
find a PCM file (something.wav) and try that.
