I'm 99% sure you can only switch the bitrate on the r16 from 16-bits to
24-bits. The samplerate is always set to 44.1kHz.

Perhaps configuring jack to use 44.1 will solve the problem?

Just a thaught, i still havn't got my thumb out to try Clemens Patch :/
