That's ok, but using a limiter, there's the need to listen very well ;),
a limiter likely could cause unwanted side effects.
I dislike to use a compressor, but much more I dislike to use a limiter.
But there's nothing wrong with the assumption that a limiter could be
the right tool.
What to use, a limiter and/or compressor for the conga track(s), or just
a compressor for the stereo sum, depends to the kind of unwanted dynamic
range.
